| This will be the 26th "Last Night of the Proms" concert presented by The West Shrewsbury Hospice Support Group to raise funds for The Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury. The programme will include a selection of light music and the favourite Proms pieces of Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1", Fantasia on British Sea Songs" by Sir Henry Wood and Hubert Parry's "Jerusalem". There will be songs by Jessica Johnson (Soprano) and Andrew Murray (Baritone}. Piper Mike Shanahan and others will also perform. Tickets will be available from Theatre Severn Box Office from Wednesday 1st February 2012. |
