Meetings
Annual General Meeting
The 2011 Annual General Meeting was held on Friday 25 March 2011 starting at 7.30pm, before the evening rehearsal. The current Treasurer wishes to step down but will remain in post until a replacement is found. One other Committee member also stood down so there is opportunity for fresh faces to join the Committee and help run the orchestra. Minutes will be available at rehearsals
The 2012 Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 30 March 2012 starting at 7.30pm, before the evening rehearsal.
Committee
The Committee met on 11 May, 16 September, 2 November 2011 and 13 January 2012. Minutes of Committee meetings are available to members at rehearsals. The next Committee meeting will be on Friday 9 March 2012 - before rehearsal.
These photos were taken at the concert on 21st March 2009 given at The Theatre Severn to raise funds for The Severn Hospice. Members can order copies from The Secretary who will also advise on costs.

Social Events
The Summer outdoor party in July was a great success with the weather keeping reasonably fine. Guest "chef" was Dave Heywood, with assistance from Rob (and Pat in the kitchen!).
The Annual Christmas Dinner took place on Monday 12 December 2011 at Shrewsbury Golf Club, Condover and was enjoyed by all who attended
Dress Code
There is a dress code for public performances and members are required to adhere to it. This consists of:
For Formal Concerts
Ladies
A maroon/burgandy, silky evening blouse together with a long black evening skirt and black shoes.
Men
Black dress suits, dress shirt, with black shoes and socks and burgundy bow tie.
For less formal concerts, eg ones that are out of doors,
Ladies
A white blouse with collar and short sleeves, black knee length skirt, black or flesh coloured tights with black shoes (black trousers in cold weather) and an SLO sweatshirt.
Men
A white shirt, black trousers with black shoes and socks, and an SLO sweatshirt
